Did anyone find it scary?

I have to say I was interested in this movie and it definitely kept me riveted and interested throughout the whole thing. However with that being said it didn't scare me like I was expecting to. I'm not saying I wanted to have the ever-loving *beep* scared out of me, but I was hoping for more of a reaction than I got.

I thought the visuals were great and that everything really worked well cohesively together-- I just wanted to have more of a visceral experience from this. I was just curious if anyone felt it needed more of a thriller/horror aspect over the suspense angle it took.

Ok, what exactly kept you riveted about this movie? The bad graphics? The even worse acting? Or how about the absolutely atrocious plot?

It wasnt scary, it wasnt well-executed - and really, it wasnt very interesting or enjoyable. Like a mix of The Hills Have Eyes, Feast and Legion - nothing new or inventive used, except perhaps the monsters backstory... Oh, wait, nevermind, they just used a genie - wow, an evil genie that turns people into long-arm-zombies, that was hard to think up.

The visuals were crap and pretty much completely copied from other media. The "horror" was about as horrifying/frightening as watching an episode of Charmed, and the acting/visuals were about on par. The fact that you already know who the only survivor will be lets you IMMEDIATELY know that hes going to survive, so all "suspense" is pretty much gone - you told us who is going to survive and who isnt, wheres the suspense?

Hell, wheres the thriller/horror aspect?
Hell, wheres the point? If you liked this drivel, theres no helping you.

My reaction was the same. I found it engrossing to the end even though it wasn't exactly a fast paced thriller.
I liked it and have no complaints about it.

History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.
