The title ruins it for me. = (

I'd hate to admit that I like a movie with a title like "Killers" unless it were a slasher/horror film, which, this is not. Now, I know it might be a little too nit-picky of me, but the name is a REAL turn off! And, I'll admit that I have yet to see the film, but it's supposed to be a light-hearted comedy---that much is clear. However, if I didn't know any better, I would think this was some twisted, dark-humor-slasher film. Really, cause that's the impression a title like "Killers" gives. Maybe if I liked those kinds of films, I wouldn't mind so much if this one was mistaken as such. But, I don't. In fact, I detest them! So, it would create an bit of an awkward situation for someone like me, who hates films like that, to include a title like this on my list of favorites, wouldn't it?

Surely, the folks involved in this movie could have come up with a better title than "Killers." That title for a film of this genre was, in my opinion, in extremely poor taste. And, because of that, I don't think I can ever like it.

"Moment By Moment" (1978), may be the most underrated movie ever! May be my fav! <3

Aw, I'll bet you say that to all the girls! And, you know what? It isn't everyone who would follow me across various boards on IMDb; you must really like me! How very flattering of you! (#^_^#)

You ever hear the expression "Don't judge a book by its cover"? Well, don't judge a movie by its title. A lot of movies are misleading with their titles but the movies are great.

Maybe this would've happened sooner if I'd have kept my little wiccan nose out of it.

I agree, silly movie, made even less appealing by a silly title.

Thanks, cruisy! Nice to know someone agrees with me!

I just watched the movie last night...and I must admit that it had its good points, and I rather enjoyed it, to an extent (though, it's no-where near a favorite of mine!). But, yes, the title makes it a WHOLE LOT LESS APPEALING! Especially since the tone of the title is a bit misleading...I thought it would be a movie about a couple who just gets a kick out of killing, like "Bonnie & Clyde"----glamorizing murderers. But, that really wasn't it at all. So, yeah, the title a terrible choice for anything other than a slasher or horror film!! Blegh!!

Just a heads up, you probably shouldn't watch The Killers (1946) or the remake from 1964.. because going by this train of thought you will be very disappointed!

I'd stay clear of Star Wars too, it isn't about stars in outer space waging war upon each other!!! Don't even get me started on the horror flick Wolf Creek, there were no wolves in the entire movie!!!! As for Night of the Living Dead, some of it took place during the day, blaspehmy I tells you!!!!
