You know what? Maybe she can set a trend, because right now, we're all too caught up on finding skinny women attractive.

Back in the day, Marilyn Monroe was NOT slim. But women with her body type were considered desirable.

I think women with Katherine Heigl's body type should be considered attractive and desirable (plus it's an easier, healthier body type for women to achieve).

I agree completely Claire-Rachel. I can't stand her at all, but she is lovely, which just makes it worse! I think she just seems "more plump" than some other actresses because she is big breasted and therefore a bit curvier than some others. I would certainly never say she was fat though! That's just crazy! And people wonder what causes women to be obsessed with being thin? Calling Heigl fat....yeah, that'll do it!

I think Katherine Heigl is friggin' hot, not sure about Katherine Keigal though. Post some photos of her and I'll decide.

She's NOT fat. Absolutely not, that's preposterous.

BUT - you can clearly see that she doesn't work out. She's in no way "fat", but her body doesn't have the "tight bounce" that a body, male or female, working out regularly has.

She's almost thin, but not so thin as to be unhealthy, but her extra-weight that differ her from being "thin thin" is not muscle, it's fat. The reason she isn't fat is clearly not because she works out, it's either that she doesn't eat much, or she has good genes/high metabolism. Maybe both. But the kilos differing her from being real skinny is not healthy weight, it's fat tissue and that is UNHEALTHY - leading to much higher levels of Low-density cholesterol ("bad" cholesterol) and low-density lipoproteins in the bloodstream, which leads to heart disease, diabetes and stroke.

I hate it when people call thin persons who are thin because they work out "unhealthy" and people a bit heavier "healthy". That is NOT the case. I'm a med school student who has done all courses on human weight/metabolism/healthy diet by now, don't know if that buys me a lot of credit but it should at least give me some. Studies show that slight overweight is worse than slight underweight. And the lowest spectrum of "normal" weight while being physically well trained (like long distance swimmers, long distance runners, cyclists and professional soccer players) is the absolute healthiest.

But yeah she's not fat. Please. She could stand to lose 5 kilos while tightening up her muscle structure though, then she would be prettier and have a less baby puffy face.
