Glen McCulla; your review is out of line.

I just read Glen McCulla review of this TV series, and all I can say is what a crock. To berate a chilldren's TV program as banal and weak is really out of line, particularly when this program has twice the energy of or its progenitor in the 70s.

It's a show meant for kids who like dogs, who despise excessive authority, and think fighting dangerous aliens is cool. There isn't much more to it than that.

How anyone could give this a pass is really beyond me. It's not Shakespeare, it's not Gone with the Wind, it's not even Casablanca, it's merely a few shades above Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse.

I don't know what TV series this guy watched, but maybe he better stream Masterpiece Theatre for WGBH in Boston rather than tune into a children's show.
