brilliant movie

I bought this film's dvd and what a buy it is..Its a fantastic film with supreme performances.Kay Kay Menon as the man with all the words and Deepak Dobriyal with very little to say, have excelled.

The rest of the cast is great and Samar Khan after his debut disaster has finally directed a film which should make him feel proud.
Its a must watch film and indeed a reality check for many..

You cannot be serious. Director took an academy award winning movie and completely butchered the adaptation. It is terribly slow and artificial throughout. The Bose - Lamba pair does not work, both characters are quite annoying given the seriousness of the issues and circumstances surrounding them.

I agree completely. This is the most brilliant adaptation of a Hollywood movie from India. Unlike others, this doesn't end up copying scenes but remains true to the spirit of the original, deftly adapting it to the Indian circumstances. Brilliant performances, good dialogues and very polished screenplay. I am not surprised it did not work in India where anything less than over-the-top is too dull for audiences to enjoy. This movie joins the league of Johnny Gaddar, Dev.D and Dil Chahta Hai as one of the few movies that make us proud of Bollywood.

It was a crap...only Kay Kay made the difference in whole movie...he was just superb with every dialogue delivery and i think he was the only actor who understood his character and than played with superb intensity.

This one is too underrated.... Shaurya is beautifully directed, Kay Kay Menon is just brilliant and this one movie in which i thoroughly liked Rahul Bose's unique acting. Even Javed Jaffry fits in the role smoothly which is completely opposite to his nature. Very well made with little flaws in it. A must watch hindi movie. I will give it 8/10.

It was a very good thought to adapt one of the best army based political movies from Hollywood and change some elements to make it somewhat more relevant to our culture and army.

But some of the comments above me are right. It was not executed well. The movie had a very casual approach to a serious subject. Also the scenes involving "investigation" were very amateurish. This was a C+ movie, but I would give a B- for the effort and attempt at making something different in Bollywood.
