looked dumb at the end gushing about the park while they played scenes of a funeral

He really came across as a insensitive jerk,I felt so sorry for the mom and dad that lost their son.

He was talking about how fucked up it was. They laugh about it now, but he didn't think it was healthy.

I wouldn't exactly call that gushing.
