Not a very good show, but Episode 2...

I watched this show out of curiosity because I remember seeing Michael B. Jordan on All My Children a few years ago. I'm way out of the targeted demographic of the teens they are trying to captivate so it may just be that I can't relate to the humor. That being said, this show is pretty awful! The acting is awful, the plots are awful...overall it's just awful.

I do have to say that the whole pretending to do nothing so you don't have to actually work in ep.2 was hilarious to me for some reason. Especially since they made a little song out of it. I guess I could relate.

I really don't think the show's that bad. Some spots are unbearable but I don't see how it's any worse than many of the shows on now that are considered successful.

I really wasn't expecting to enjoy it. To be honest I had never heard of the show at all, guess I'm not in the demographic either. So I took a chance and saw there was something other than Degrassi in the N's on demand slot (hoping maybe they would put up some Kenan and Kel stuff, no such luck) and thought why not? I was about to turn it off but I thought I saw MBJ and ended up watching the whole ep.

Not my cup of tea but ok considering I could see Michael B occasionally.

I really don't think the acting is that bad it's just the type of humor that's popular now isn't that funny and only can be pulled off by a few and actually be funny. But everyone does it now.

I did think the avoiding work thing was funny, and some parts with the singing just b/c of the expressions and I know people who sing everything, and we tend to mock that a lot.

So overall it had a few laughs for me, but anytime I can see MBJ is fun times for me. Dimples. Sigh.

Only watched the first episode so far but right now I don't really like. Just overall everything seems to be pretty bad - acting/ no real plot etc. It seems like it could have potential but from what I've seen so far it just doesn't seem to work or interest me. Will watch the second episode to see if it gets any better but not expecting much.

This show happened to catch my attention because of Michael B. Jordan. About 7 years ago he was on The Wire as an unfortunate teen named Wallace who is caught up in the Baltimore drug trade. After the character makes his exit from the series, the gang leader's brother is having a crisis of conscience. He repeatedly screams at the gang's #2 guy, "Where the f--- is Wallace?" So it's become an in-joke with me and my wife whenever we see him in a different show. "Where the f--- is Wallace? Oh right here."
