Everything old is new again...

I know there was a previous thread on this, but there is a definite Monkees feel to this group. Here's how they stack up for me:

Rich = Peter (the true musician behind the group, the one who can play pretty much anything)
Smitty = Mike (smart, plays guitar, personality-wise kind of separate from the rest of the group)
Dave = Micky (a little goofy, always coming up with crazy ideas)
Scott = Peter (his outrageous clueless character)

I don't see a direct correlation to Davy Jones, however.

Also, looking at the Monkees mythos, I have to say that the Imagination Warehouse seems very much like the mansion in which the New Monkees resided in their short-lived TV series. Anyone else see that similarity?
