You know the movie's bad when.....

You know the movie's bad when the BEST of the user reviews include:

"Despite the presence of several veteran actors, Monster Ark amounts to little more than below-average horror shlock." (NOTE: this is on the top of the list of BEST reviews!)

"The only reason why I tuned in to see this movie is that the monster looked really cool in the previews. As it turns out that is the only good thing about this movie."

"Hell, I'm getting addicted to these Sci-fi original productions showing on cable, but boy there are some stinkers amongst the charmers and sadly 'Monster Ark' is a dud."

"This is film-making of the shoddiest and laziest sort. Every scene is a showcase for the writer/director's ignorance."

I don't even want to look at the WORST reviews!

"A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five."

It's the type of film where you want the monster (if you can call it that) to kill all of the main characters.

YES! It's REALLY bad if I start nitpicking the movie as I'm watching it. Renee O'Connor was a self-righteous bitch who I thought, ironically enough, should have been the only one to survive to the end. To me, her pro-religious/belief perspective was overly done, which made me think that the writers/director had an agenda.

I hated how Tim D.'s character totally went the pro-religious/faith bandwagon. From that point on I did want the monster to go back and get his ass.

I couldn't stand Tiny Lister. I could not believe that he was an experienced soldier. He was literally chewing the scenery more than the frakkin' monster! Any of the military tactical scenes were just laughable. You can't go halfway with those scenes after you see so many cop shows and military movies.

I just think this is one of SyFy's stinkers. It wasn't even fun! Maybe I have too many issues with belief and religion as it is to have fun with this thing.

I HATE SOOKIE STACKHOUSE!

I'm a fan of all three of them I mostly wanted to see it for Renee & Tim, not having seen her in a while.
I saw pro-religious/faith bandwagon coming from a mile away.
Ever see the Rock Hudson film The Spiral Road? Same kind of scene.

You know the movie's bad when...

- The first minute is filled with cheesy CGI that your teenage kid could do on his laptop.

- The next five minutes establish the main characters as bad actors who recite wretched dialogue in response to ridiculous plot situations.

- After seven minutes you press the Delete button on your DVR remote so hard that you have to pry it loose with a pen knife.
