It's okay. But it makes me miss Beyond Belief:Fact of Fiction even more!

There can be only one...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, BB is better.

reply

Yeah I agree.

Could someone please tellme what network this show is on and when? thank you so much.

Prenzie, I've seen this on the Biography channel at 11 PM, Eastern time. I've wondered if it comes on at any other time.

The show definitely reminds me of Beyond Belief, which I miss terribly! Urban Legends is the B version of Beyond Belief (if that were possible). The thing is, I'm usually able to pick the real story because the actors in the other stories are so brilliantly bad. That and they've used some of the same stories from BB.

Oh, but then our lives: believe me, they are indeed wretched.

Thank you so much! I have been looking for the name of that show for literally years! I used to watch it when I was really little (probably 9 or 10) and could not remember the name, just a vague idea of what it was about. Whenever I described it people always told me Ripley's Believe It or Not or Twilight Zone, but I knew that wasn't right. I'd pretty much given up, but recently found this Urban Legends show on Netflix which seemed to be so close I thought it must be based on the earlier show. I came to IMDB to check the trivia section and see if it named the show (which it didn't!) only to find your post had exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was starting to think I had made it up!

Beyond Belief was, as some stated, much better. I do not like Urban Legends, it is too easy to know which one is true. I am 100% (I am not lying). Just need to look at the interviews and you instantly know when it is acting instead of a real story. They usually do too much hand gestures or eye movements.... At least BB were all reenactement so it was harder... and sometimes much creepier.

I think I got one, maybe two, wrong so far,
I've only seen two. Not really, At least ten.
I have gone on the acting but not body language (yet); you usually can just tell.

Interesting...I haven't seen that show but I kind of like this show. With every segment you'll learn something interesting from experts about the specific area. Its predictable but the background info is what is interesting IMO. The why it is an urban legend.
