Isn't this Beyond Belief: Fact of Fiction ???

Isn't this show pretty much just a remake of the show Beyond Belief: Fact of Fiction? Even the whole concept of 3 stories and 1 is true.

That's what I said when I saw the commercials for Urban Legends on SyFy. I'm glad they are bringing this type of show back. Fact or Fiction was a good program, but then the stories got worse.

It's a weak imitation ... right down to the bad puns. I liked Beyond Belief, but Brolin and Frakes were a big part of the charm. This faceless announcer is a little too campfire for me.

Look at him -- sittin' on that stool like he's doin' it a favor.

In the US (and probably other places) the narrator is David Hewlett from Stargate Atlantis.

"Beyond Belief…" popped into my head the first time I saw this too.

Yippee: "For king!"
Yappee: "For country!"
Yahooie: "And, most of all, for 10¢ an hour!"

Glad I wasn't the only one who immediately thought about Beyond Belief when I saw the ad for this show.

It's very similar, but less horror oriented.

Ya Beyond Belief was all about the scary stories. Urban Legends is more comedy. I like both shows but Beyond Belief has to be my favorite.
