US Release Date/Airing

Here's a query....how come this miniseries hasn't been broadcast on HBO given that HBO is a co-producer? Heck, how come Acorn, who released the miniseries in the UK, haven't taken advantage of the fact that James Nesbitt and David Oyelowo have more than a few notable film roles under their belt now and released it here in the US on DVD? Think about it, they can advertise that James Nesbitt has been in The Hobbit in addition to Bloody Sunday and that David Oyelowo has had roles in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Butler and Interstellar.

Lord knows it looks like a much more interesting watch than that three-hour cheesefest starring the dad from Suburgatory as Jesus, Grace as Mary Magdalene, and Commisioner Gordon as Pilate.
