reply

I love how she looks EXACTLY the same in 8 simple rules... it's awesome! I just started watching it and she's such a great actress

F_ck your chain, my people will kill you for water

reply

she did very well i agree but after a while didn't feel like she was in 8 simple rules cuz i got so into her i forgot about that show she had me convinced but looks so hot in it as well

Amy was amazing in this movie and really felt bad for her character and the Nat character. Even though Amy played a composite character she gave showed vulernable side of the victims. I think Amy is talented and has a great career ahead of her.

reply

ya i do to i think this may be her break out role and will get her noticed finally and you are right she is very talented and i think she is the best actress in the world

reply

I only got to see about half of the movie, but from what I saw, Amy did a GREAT job! Hopefully she gets more roles now. I really liked her on 8 Simple Rules too!

reply

She was nothing short of excellent. In many ways the movie would've succeeded or failed based on her performance.

reply

She did brilliantly, and i'm glad she got noticed for it! Go Amy!

reply

She was awesome. I was moved by her characters narration.

Oh My God Yo' God Is Touchin' Ya!

Before watching this, I wasn't familiar with the actress who played "Hel" nor the one who played "Nat". Not sure how much of this was fictitious but I enjoyed especially the role of "Hel" spoiler below....

Her being both a narrator and a victim (not sure if anyone could tell that she became a victim at the beginning, I certainly didn't realize that).

I thought it was very cute and touching that after "Nat" was grown up with a family of her own, she named her daughter Helen. That was very sweet, IMO.

reply

She's done an incredible job. Hard to believe she's twenty eight. Great actress and I hope she gets noticed.

reply

Whoe, 28...?? Yeesh she is. That is hard to believe!

reply

Her performance was amazing. I'm not a fan and never watched 8 Simple Rules. She seemed really authentic, gritty, and heartbreaking as Hel.

Karma's a bizzle.

reply

i had no idea who she was. I didn't watch 8 Simple Rules, but I was familiar with the show. I never could've guessed it was the same girl.

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

I just got done watching this on lifetime, and I also thought she was great. That is not an easy role to play, and I was totally riveted by all of her scenes.

I agree Amy was great in this movie and should bring her more work! I enjoyed her parts the most and wished she was star in her own new movie! So glad Canada now has Lifetime however they are already repeating lots of movies, huge WTF there!
