Did justine get her just desserts?

Ok i'm throwing this question open to all who saw this movie. Do you think that Justine deserved the fate that she got? I mean she didn't really bully Mullet. She only said what she said cause the bullies pushed him onto her during a phone call. All the other bullies were killed and as Alex lay dying, she had the murder weapon in her hands and was caught with it still in her hand by the police. Was it the ultimate revenge that Justine get done for murder after she hardly did anything to Mullet in the frist place?

imo, I think she did deserve what she got. Mullet asked her for help, since she was the head girl, and instead of helping she got pissed at him for interupting her phone call when the group was bullying him and took away his inhalor and wouldn't give it back when he needed it. She also became a part of their group later on. So i think he didn't want to kill her because she didn't really do anything and he liked her, but also wanted to get her back for becoming part of the group and not helping him when she should have when he was alive.

I'm gonna miss Glee

I don't think Justine got what she deserved. True, she definately should of helped him after she saw him get bullied, but in my opinion, she got it worse that the others. She and Alexis were left until last, knowing they were being picked of one by one, then Mullet almost killed her, she was forced to watch her boyfriend be viciously murdered and then she was framed for it all. She would have been distraught and suicidal. I think all this was more pain than she deserved. And let's face it, the reason Mullet was angry at her was because she slept with Alexis, not because she didn't help him when he was being bullied.

yes,she did.
many people get injured in war not for what they exactly done, just for they chose to be on the enemy`s side.
she could choose the right side and do right thing,or just walk away.
but she didin`t,she chose to be part of the bad guys.
what she can complain about then?
every action cause some consequence.

No, she didn't deserve that, at all. When Mullet was pushed into her she was clearly talking about being accepted into Oxford - so she was caught up in the moment.

She may not have deserved what happened to her, but in Darren's eyes, her "betrayal" is what lead him to commit suicide. Plus with a murder weapon in her hand and her pin at the gravesite with 2 other bodies, she's most likely to get life imprisonment, since their is no death penalty in the UK, where Darren can continue to "watch over her" like he said he would in his suicide note.

I don't understand half the people on this board. Nobody in this movie deserved anything they got. I was bullied in high school and do you know what? Many of those bullies grew up and befriended me in the end. They're young and stupid and they definitely deserved punishment for what they did but not death.

Also, Mullet was an *beep* in the end. When he killed his best friend that just confirmed it.

None of them deserved it. Some kids should be bullied. Like that kid that desecrated the 911 memorial. I hope he gets bullied.

reply

No, that was a case of Darren being jealous and evil.

He didn't even know Justine, and so pinning this all on her because she was dating Alexis and had sex with him was sinister!

How could she possibly have deserved what she got? For being self-absorbed she deserved to have a number of her friends and acquaintances murdered and then to be framed for it?

She didn't bully him. And she didn't exactly "ignore" him, either -- almost everyone is pretty much oblivious to what's going on around them when they're on the phone. She had her back turned, she was excited about having gotten into a prestigious school, she was on the phone, there was all kinds of ruckus going on, and people expect her to have the situational awareness to know that the guy muttering at her is pleading for help? And before the funeral, her social life seemed pretty much to consist of the Keira Klub's nightly film-watching sessions; it's not like she knew everyone else and just shut Mullet out -- she was just generally oblivious and self-absorbed, like most people, and many high-schoolers more than most.
