Does anyone know if this is true? I have looked everywhere, but no theater seems to be showing this film at all. I find this very odd. I mean, cult films such as Enter the Void, Antichrist, and Taxidermia have been shown in California in the past. Why does this film have no showtimes listed in California?

According to a box office report it only opened at 26 theaters....Didn't open in my state which is in the mid atlantic region...I notice it is not on on demand same day as theaters either....I don't know what gives with this film..small opening, no pay per view...sounds like poor marketing to me
shareIt's a roll-out, self-distributed, limited release.. starting on the East Coast and mid-west, hoping to pick up steam and get a wider release later on. Hopefully it will have enough steam to reach California, where theater rental fees are very high!

sharePick up steam...not hardly..I live in a large city in a mid atlantic state (within striking distance of where it was filmed) and there has been no sign of this...apparently they are having a hard time getting a decent distributor to buy into this...at the rate of their rollout it could be years before it hits the west coast let alone the midwest and mid atlantic..
In additon, indie film Choose already on on demand ,( IFC Midnight)...so there are distributors out there willing to work deals with indie films...
