i don't live in NY so is this on dvd? where would i be able 2 buy it? i saw a trailer for it and the subject seems interesting...tragic but interesting so could somebody please let me know. thanks

It's on showtime right now (in December). Go to the GEMS website and you will see other showings. It's fantastic.

you can also go to www.gems-girls.org and order the dvd. if you host a screening party in your area, you get a free dvd. check the site for details.

i'm so glad there are people like rachel lloyd in this world. it's nothing short of a miracle that she survived everything she's been through in life and came out the other side of it as an advocate and activist. get this dvd as soon as you can!

It's right now on Showtime Showcase. Disturbing, but somewhat not enough director work I think.

You've probably already seen this by now, but this documentary is currently running on Netflix.
