TITLE IS DISTURBING-MIGHT SCARE PEOPLE OFF
I THINK THE TITLE IS WRONGLY WORDED, I GET THEIR POINT BUT THE TITLE MIGHT LIMIT SOME FROM WATCHING THIS TRULY SAD AND MOVING DOCUMENTARY.

shareI agree, after watching the movie I though "GEMS in the rough" or "The forgotten girls" would have been a better fit. When I first saw the title on Showtime I though it was porn! I was like "Why is porn playing so early?" LOL
One day you want to *beep* him, the next day you want to bite a hole through his sternum.
"Gems" would have been a great title!
"Don't go through Hell to give him Heaven."
You thought "Very Young Girls" is a porn playing near you? What is this? Kansas? lol
shareIt's kind of funny that you complain that the title is "disturbing" when the subject matter is ten times more disturbing. Wouldn't you be more upset if the title didn't warn you that the subject matter was going to be disturbing?
shareThe movie group that's showing this this month accidently called it "very young grils". It's supposed to be a spiritual movie group so I was kind of intrigued that they'd be showing a movie about grilling.
Pretty descriptive title to me. Besides, are you aware of what porn movies are actually called these days? Nobody would get them confused.
shareFor me the title is important. I'm a documentary lover, and when I reflect upon this quite harrowing documentary the first thing to enter my mind is the title. It has that necessary impact when one reflects upon the documentary and the evils within it. Wonderful work all round, I wish the young teenagers well and Ms Lloyd all the best in her future work.
