The cop when the lady was looking for her daughter

HOLY COW, was I appalled at the attitude of that cop, or whoever he was. This woman is telling him that she has a good idea where her missing daughter is, that she is being held there against his will and he's to lazy to get up off his fat ass and make a call to someone. He could have at least acted concerned.

I can "sort of" understand he might get wild goose chases like this all the time, and maybe even "crazy" people making claims like this...but wow...how can you not pursue this. What if she would have been killed that weekend?

Some people should have jobs where they have no other human contact.

I believed it... I'm a case worker and I can tell you from my personal experience SOME police officers.. especially those here in New York rarely get off their assess to look for a Hispanic or AA teenaged prostitute.

SOME police officers act just like dude did in the doc.

Yes I agree. But it was unbelievable how when she asked how to get a warrant from court (or whatever it was) he wouldn't even explain to her how to go about getting one! What a douche!

Your mother ate my dog!!!!!

Police are neither social workers nor legal aid lawyers.

The cop probably also thought that the girl was doing what she wanted to do, and the mother couldn't stop her - which was almost certainly the case.
