Racist!
Just started watching this film expecting an exploring, informative, educational if not entertaining [in the loosest terms] potrait of the corruption of young girls ( that much is made clear; I didn't expect to see rent boys who are also lured into this seedy lifestyle).
But why are all of the girls and pimps black, from a white director no less.
And that wouldn't be so bad if when filming undercover for the cut-scenes you didnt see so many white prostitutes in wide-shots getting into cars. Making it clear and in no uncertain terms that the director willing choose to focus on black girls.......
Is this a fair picture of American prostitution problems, only girls of urban descent are getting coerced, tricked and manipulated into sex work?
Thoroughly disappointing as it leaves a bad after-taste in my conscience. Whilst he exposes one injustice he commits another.
