Looks good. That last shot of Ian turning toward the camera and smiling is eerie. I've never seen it before.
BTW, from what is shown in the trailer, it seems like people who wanted a "Joy Division" movie might actually get their wish. It seem very band-centric.
I saw it a few hours ago and I'm still in tears. It's really amazing. The director of the film was there as well as the producer of the film (who happened to be the manager of New Order for 18 years) and they talked about everything. The film has interviews with the remaining members, Annik, Tony Wilson, Genesis P. Orridge and other important characters. Deborah was going to participate too but after working on Control she was emotionally drained and felt she couldn't go through the same process again. The director however said that she saw the film and that she liked it very much. They actually showed of picture of Annik when she was young and she looked totally different than I imagined her. She was more geeky-arty cute than a femme-fatale.
No offense Mr. Pickett but New Order's manager - Rob Gretton - died in 1999. Also the interviews for this doc were done before the Control production had even started so not an excuse for Deborah, not sure what the reason is, maybe because you know who is in it? I seriously doubt it, she probably had her hands full trying to get Control off the ground which from what I've read and looking at the timeline of events must have been quite the process.
