Planted Hype Reviews = Bad

Wow, i haven't seen as many reviews of a movie here on imdb that were so blatantly obvious in their purpose to hype a movie! There are a number of back-to-back reviews that were obviously planted by people who were intimately involved with this movie. They all rated it at either a 9 or 10, mentioned how great an actor or two were, how brilliant the director was, and can't help themselves from encouraging everyone to go out and rent or buy it. I wish IMDB would make a rule where this kind of thing isn't allowed. These people should be banned from the site. They do noting to add to the value of IMDB, and actually do nothing but hurt it! They should at least be "flagged" so people would know to look elsewhere for a worthwhile opinion or review. Does anybody agree?

I agree. Either that or require accounts to have been active for at least a month before being allowed to post reviews on the site. What's funny, is they're seeing real reviews by people who didn't like the movie and are starting to put more plant comments.

Check the latest one by "Amanda Tinny". You click on the name and the registered user is "mkuskin" lol.

yes, i agree. It's unfortunate this kind of thing happens. But having said that, don't you think this kind of thing happens everytime a film critic puts pen to paper?
