Is this any good? All I see are suspicious reviews by people who have registered only to review this movie (ie, plants).

yeah it's clear the reviews are all written by the same person.

i love how often the word poignant is used. it's hilarious.

Indeed all the same size, usernames registered about at the same time and only this movie was reviewed.

There are actually companies who outsource the writing and "community care" which this job is called to students and whatnot who make a few bucks per review a.s.o. and writing positive forum entries.

Microsoft and many others do this.

It's good if you like movies with corny jokes, lame plots and lots of nudity. I am a fan of these sometimes haha

Same thing at Amazon - two reviewers wrote 1 review ever there and both gave it a 5/5. Jeez, get real. If it's a good movie, people will watch it and review it well.

I don't say this often, but this is quite possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I don't expect academy award winning acting in teen comedies, but seriously, it was pretty bad.

I can't believe that I've wasted 1h and 40min of my life on this movie. I still wonder why I watched the whole movie, just waiting for fun parts....what fun parts? Probably the most boring comedy I seen in a long time.

I don't know how this movie failed to deliver anything. How can a movie based around a teen party fail to have any jokes that even made me chuckle? The thing about this is, that the story shows promise. A movie based around these types of characters has potential, but The Weekend failed to be a comedy in any sort.
