Well, I watched this movie the other day and I did like it. Very much. I am a Vampire fanatic and tend to pay attention to the essentials of vampirism rather than the effects or some big tits hanging. Yes, it's a low budget movie and for that I congratulate the makers because it looks high quality. The "acting"--is anybody an actor around here? an acting coach? you all sure seem experts in the arts of acting, well the acting was not the best but was not as bad as you say. I have seen worse and guess what? they keep getting parts--Hello Michael-Cera-you-always-play-yourself-in-every-movie.
I dont think they were planning on getting Oscar nominations for this flick so let's get real. I really like the girl since she did not speak the entire time and yet managed to convey all emotions. The Spanish Vampire was pretty menacing too. The Hunter was also on target--seen Van helsig? well, kindda like that.
in sum, I really like it. Let's give some support to the hollywood outsiders.
