According to Red Velvet website, the film will be screening in at the following comic/horror conventions:

WonderCon (S.F. - Feb 22-24)
Fear Fest (Dallas - March 7-9)
Wizard World (L.A. - March 14-16)
SuperCon (San Jose - May 17-18)
ComiCon (San Diego - July 24-27)

Once people actually have seen the movie, we'll hear more in the way of actual opinions. Right now, other than the comic and horror convention screenings, the only thing out there is the trailer at http://www.redvelvetmovie.com

The plan is to take the film around the comic and horror conventions through the summer and screen it for fans of the genre. After that, it will get a limited theatrical run and then make it's way to DVD.

See RED VELVET at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors (Saturday, April 26th at 2:00 PM).

Immediately following the screening will be a Q&A featuring the stars and filmmakers...along with a few surprises that would make WILLIAM CASTLE smile!

Check the official website for more info . . .

I watched one of the newly pressed Blu-Rays (which looked stunning) last night and fell in love with this film! Great acting, writing and cinematography made this film flow wonderfully. Henry Thomas's performance is outstanding and vibes well with the adorable Kelli Garner. A completely new and far-out take on killing kids with the "cabin in the woods" scenario. Clever and enjoyable it gets 9 out of 10 stars for me. Highly recommended!
