RT is shit metacritic all the way.

It deserves better than that. I just got back from the movie and would give it a 7/10.

It's an interesting premise that, despite a couple of narrative stumbles and a runtime that's a little longer than it should be, is executed pretty well.

I think people still haven't tired of giving M. Night shit for Lady in the Water and The Happening so they reflexively hand out negative scores. Also, let's not forget that since RT operates on a strict positive/negative system, 56% means the majority of reviewers turned in positive reviews.

I would agree with your comments and rating. For me, this is also a 7/10.

Actually it deserves a far lower rating. Not because it was poorly made but because the ending was so off the wall that it begged the question of why a family with kids would be selected? If someone was going to engineer people into a place that aged them quickly why would you ever do it with a group that included kids? You could easily do it with adults and know that the adults wouldn't even be aware of hyper aging for hours, but throw in young kids and you might as well tell the people what is going on before they arrive. Sorry but the ending just creates way too many logical flaws in the story. It would have been better to have it turn out to be an area created by aliens that wanted to study the life cycle of humans at an accelerated rate than the one they came up with.

There's only space for MCU.
