, why does he do it? After all, Frankie is a young man of Jewish origins. And in a neighbourhood like that, where everybody seems to know everybody, would it be plausible? Robbert makes clear that he feeds on boys who have problems at home, school, with society, etc... that part I understood.

Just asking to see whether anybody found this strange, or your interpretation of the plot.
