Great Movie( Definitely different from the norms these days)

I just came back from the theater and I thought the film was great. A unique storyline combined with believable characters and good acting all around made it look realistic. At first I thought that probably all the actors were from India but as it turns out only one was( or so I was told). I am proud that people are making movies like these, because it shows the maturity of our audience. I only hope that more movies are made and that the Pakistani film industry gets the chance to shine.

Its so funny though that this movie was the only movie that still had tickets left when I went to get the tickets. Singh is King, Wanted and Kung Fu Panda were all sold out. The fact that shallow movies like Singh is King draw a larger audience frustrates me as those movies are the exact reason why we dont have more movies like Ramchand Pakistani. This movie( and Khuda kay Liye) are solid proof that Pakistani movies( Lollywood) dont need to follow the pattern of bollywood movies( or at least most of them) and have dance routines or a generic romantic plot in them. I just hope more people take notice of the fact that generic romantic subplots and gay dance routines are not needed in making a good movie.
