i dont get it? wouldnt the video tape of the attempted rape and all the other children's confession and the attempted blow job by the prophet be enough to send all of those people to jail? i know they said the church had the local cops in their pocket, but religious belief or not, people are not allowed to legaly rape and beat their children? or are they?
shareI could be wrong but I thought they said that most of the local law enforcement were part of that cult and could not be trusted. In other words, it was a local matter. They took care of their own. If the prophet could make a court case go away for the father of Avery then why would he not be able to make court cases of child abuse go away. They had to use the tapes along with the money schemes and other deceptive business practices to get the federal government and perhaps the State of Utah's attorney general in on it.
