After seeing this movie as well as "Red State", I was wondering if anyone could suggest other movies with the similar theme of "speaking for god"; wherein the sheep gladly surrender themselves to the wolves in sheeps' clothing.

However, for the real cults upon which these titles are based, look up "Children of God" on YouTube. There is a 5-part documentary that describes in detail the atrocities the so-called prophets do to innocent children. Sadly, these cults are STILL alive and kicking. They just change their names when a large scale scandal is featured on the news till people forget and move on.

There is a really good old one, not sure but it is called split images. It is about a cult in the 70's/80's and brainwashing. It stars Karen Allen and Michael O'Keefe, Peter Fonda, James Woods, etc. I remember it as very good and it stuck with me all these years.
