Watching this movie, I couldn't help but notice the similarities between the 'land o lakes' plant and the auto plant layoffs and closings here in Michigan. Unfortunately what many of the big-wig executives and Washington bureaucrats are forgetting about are the people who are affected by these cutbacks. The line that Lucy says over again, "You can't just cut off people's livelihoods like that," sure hits home.

Anyone else?

Good point and yes I agree with you. That was a powerful line. It seemed so simple and honest that it makes you wonder why it isn't more often said in corporate board rooms.
