Alex didn't get Editor in Chief... so he moaned for the entire year...

The guy was the closest to getting the job and he was the one who was the most miserable about it for the entire year...

it was already pretty obvious...

but the meeting at the park in the last episode where he is still ranting on and on about how he should have been Editor in Chief and how Amanda was just so terrible is just plain sad...

Its nice to see that Amanda came out looking like such an adult while Alex came out looking like the king of the pouting mob who had made up their minds from the start to make Amanda's job as difficult as possible...

good luck to her at NYU...

I agree! There all really mean 2 her and it's not Amanda's fault she got EIC! Alex is just being stupid and jealous!

If it had been me in Amanda's spot, I would have pushed Alex into that lake!!! He is so annoying and immature!

That whole conversation in the park was pretty pathetic. Kudos to Amanda for taking the high road and not sinking to Alex's level. I loved when she called it "spilled milk". He needed to get over it. His behaviour was PURE PROJECTION; everything he was accusing Amanda of he was guilty of himself (Pot, have you met kettle???)

If they had a serious problem with Amanda being EIC they all should have taken their objections up with their teacher. Clearly the teacher saw something in Amanda that the others lacked that made her the most appropriate choice. The wisdom of her decision became evident as the school year went on.

No matter what you do people are always going to hate on you. Sometimes when a whole bunch of people hate on you it's really due to some sort of deep seeded jealously they are harbouring toward you. Amanda has a bright future ahead of her once she continues to not let what people say about her get her down too much.
