Stupidity and Hilarity

My favorite plot hole:

When the kids first go into the town and enter the pub, they meet Demeter, who offers to "help" them by taking them away from the place and into the forest to return the sword. Later, when they are staying at Jason's aunt's house, Cassandra sneaks in and tries to take the sword in order to "protect" the kids. She explains that Demeter had been acting strange [sic] for months and that he would do anything to get the sword. So, why did she do absolutely nothing to stop them from leaving the pub with Demeter before?

More stuff I loved:

--How Jason screamed forever when he POKED the Monster in the knee with the sword.
--How Cassandra suddenly lost her accent in the pub in the next scene.
--(SPOLIER) When they meet Cassandra, she tells them she loves all things American and has always wanted to go to America. After Jason "kills" the Monster, he and old Cassie kiss and he asks her to come back to America. She says, "America? I've always wanted to go to America!"

More to follow, I'm sure...

"All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine."

-Well the main guys leg magically being unbroken is a pretty big one.
-His curly haired friend accepts a marriage proposal from a guy who can barely speak english
-Even though they've seen the rock monster is impervious to bullets, all the characters and extras are still given guns, and fire at it anyway.
-The black guy basically signed his death warrent when he decided to wander off on his own...

And in a world where good's not good enough, let's get loaded and kick up a fuss

And that's why I love Marlon Brandon for refusing his Oscar award for the racism present in Hollywood.

STOP USING TOKEN BLACK GUYS HOLLYWOOD.

Though this is nowhere near a standard hollywood movie.

-- Everyone in a small, rural Russian village speaks and understands English, so the town meeting of course is in English.
