in addition to being a profound and honest look into the world of an inspirational young man who grows up deaf, this film is cinematically stunning. Some of the shots took my breath away. The sound design was amazing as it explores the differences between the world of the hearing and the non-hearing. I loved the acting in the film. Great performances all around. Sweet, funny and moving story. I fell in love with sign language! What a beautiful way to communicate. Really wonderful film and one that I would highly recommend.

I loved it! I feel related to Matt Hamill because I am deaf but I speak and don't know asl well anjd I loved the open captions with some blanks. I'm like that's self explanatory. Kudos!

The movie is wonderful. Very well done. Russell Harvard was amazing. Excellent acting as Matt Hamill. I enjoyed the open captioning and how it was done with the blanks. I want to see it again.

The Hammer hits theatres Oct. 27th.
