Matt is not King

I stopped being a fan when he declared himself king of the UFC house on his season of TUF. His very short stint as a UFC fighter was deserving. During practice He tried to hurt everyone. I have no respect for the guy. He doesn't know how to be humble. He achieved nothing.

he has had 13 UFC fights in 5 years.. is that a short run? 2 ufc fights in 2011.. he retired after his last fight.. a 9-4 record in the UFC is not a short stint.. he is 35 which is a good time to retire from that type of sport..

Well, when you go to the TUF house you want to be confident. That is what Matt was. He wanted to let his other teammates at 205 know that he could take them down at will. MMA is an individual sport that is 95% mental. Didn't really matter because he got injured in his win over Mike Nickels.

Yeah, 13 fights in 5 years is a very long run in the UFC. Most guys probably average 2-3 fight before getting bounced.

Matt had many entertaining fights in the UFC. I remember that season, Bisping and others complained Matt was going too hard in training. Bisping tried to put Matt in his place by head kicking Matt in a sparring session. Matt had not had his bell rung like that in his life. He later fought Bisping in a grudge match in England. Bisping got the decision but the crowd booed the decision. Most people gave the fight to Matt. You may not be a fan of him all you want but you can't deny what he has accomplished, plus he is a tough SOB.

Carl, quit tryin' to get yourself killed man.
