I'm really not sure, reading the plot tells you nothing about him and the UFC.... "becomes both the first deaf wrestler to win a National Collegiate Championship and an inspirational force to the hearing and deaf alike"

One of the scenes in the trailer has him about to enter the octagon, so I assume they will be touching on his UFC career in the film.

It makes sense considering his UFC fame is what will get the film noticed by most people.

No scenes like that it focuses on his childhood up to his college days (with just a quick follow up scene of the real Hammer in a UFC arena).
