I know Coco never married, but she never had children either? Either there was birth control back then, or just "luckily" never got pregnant?

So much is missing from this movie. I do love the movie very much, but Coco has a niece, but very little is mentioned in the movie about her sister ever leaving the convent.

Also, where did Mark come from?

I know in real life, Coco had several brothers and sisters. I can't remember how many. I need to find a good biography on her life. I know she was connected with several married men.

It's been said that she became infertile after aborting Etienne's baby.

Birth control has existed in some form for centuries. But in Chanel's case I also wondered how she didn't get pregnant. Perhaps she was barren.

But according to biographies, she did have a son and referred to him as her nephew. He was sent away to boarding school, can't remember who was the father though, Etienne or Boy.
