Sigur Ros get better, putting the whole film on youtube to watch for free.

And its defiantly worth the watch, amazing shots of iceland and the band itself.

its a private video. you can only watch it if it is sent to you. is there a way you could possibly send it to me? i really want to see it

That's very nice of them but I personally still think that it should be seen either theatrically or on DVD as the photography is astonishing and won't 'come over' as well via YouTube. Ideally I'd like to see a BD disk of the film as it was shot in HD.

Precisely!!

As soon as I saw the OP, I was going to say the same thing. I first saw it on DVD (blind buy, love the band) and immediately wanted to see it on BD. But now I get to see it three nights from now for a one night only theatrical screening in Calgary during the "Taste of Iceland" festivities!!

I'm so excited!!

I saw a 35mm blow up in Austin Texas. The transfer was not good. HD is good, but film is still the way to go, even 16mm would look better than this. Beautiful shooting however, very pretty reversal shots at the beginning of the film caught me off guard and put me in the mood for something unexpected. Nice dolly tracking shots in tight quarters and very nice composition for the exteriors of the band playing. I loved every second of the film. It has a GREAT 5.1 sound mix. When Sigur Ros lets go, this film really holds onto the quality of the sound.

Just buy the dvd and support Sigur Ros, it's well worth it. The film is too beautiful to watch on crappy quality youtube anyway.
