Confused,... odd....

I have just finished watching this film. To say the least i was/am very confused about the whole project. I just cannot believe that Nobody read the script from beginning to end and said it didn't make sense.

There were many different angles and leads that the writers could have taken. I saw so many different cut & pastes from movies, and ideas that were plastered together to make this................odd........like 4 short stories hastely put together, but only allowed 20 minutes each.

The only reason i gave it a 2/10 is due to the fact that some big names were listed in the movie.

what the hell? I would only watch this if a friend rented it from the $1 redbox and i was drunk.

Sorry crew/actors... you tried but...

:::SPOILER ALERT:::

I agree with you for the most part. Though I think 2 out of 10 is way too harsh. A 2/10 is something you turn off after 20 minutes. The supporting cast was great, though the lead seemed to be lacking somehow. There was definitely potential for something decent here. I knew early on that something strange was going on when the main character never changed his shirt. At that point in the movie I was actually kind of enjoying it, trying to figure out the twist, thinking maybe he was really dead or something. There were lots of little things throughout the movie that didn't quit add up plot-wise, but it's the ending that really killed it for me.

It really seems like they ran out of time and/or money at the end and just threw together an ending real quick to put lid on the project. If they would have cast Skeet in the leading role and taken the time to make a proper ending that somehow tied all the strange plot elements together, this actually could have been quite good. All-in-all, I'd still give it a 5 or 6 out of 10. It's about on par with the kind of direct to cable movies you'd see on SciFi and the like.

"A 2/10 is something you turn off after 20 minutes".

Wrong. This is by far the closest thing to a 2/10.

"It's about on par with the kind of direct to cable movies you'd see on SciFi and the like."

Name one SciFi movie that makes less sense than this one. While SciFi might have real bad special effects, at least their stories makes some sense.

If you are confused after watching this, then you are part of normal society.

Miserable film. If that guy yelled out Anna one more time I was going to shoot the TV.

I too was confused by the ending of this film, and felt a bit cheated from having invested in watching it. But, there were many good aspects of the film, such as the setting, the premise of restoring an old, isolated historical house. While, obviously, there were, as you say, a lot of loose ends, I didn't mind that so much till the ending, in which, we are made to accept the acquisition of the property and the improvements were all in his head. The ending was just too abrupt.
