I watched the trailer on youtube for 'the disappeared' and im sure i saw hugh at the bit where the main character is saying
'how can you do this? How can you act like everything is normal?'
But his name isnt in the cast list... did anybody else see him?

Im sure it was probably someone who just looked like Hugh. While IMDB.com sucks at getting info right, their cast list is usually correct ..ESPECIALLY if it's a big star like Laurie.

with all the success hugh is having on house md, he would never do a low budget film.

Could you be mistaking Greg Wise for him? He's the guy in the trailer.
