I'm such a nerd, but I noticed that one book - the pink one - was Nancy Mitford's "Pursuit of Love/Love in a Cold Climate" was on his bed at the very beginning. That works with the story of the short film, and I was wondering if anyone recognized the other books on the bed.

You are not alone, comrade. I, too, am such a nerd/book fetishist that I came to this message board just to see if anyone mentioned what some of the books were in his room. Whenever I see books in the background of a scene, I always pause and zoom in to try and see what they are.
