Rubbish
I am sorely disappointed in both Ingrid Newkirk and PeTA after watching this documentary.
They spend more time trying to raise money and get attention than actually helping animals. In all of their efforts, the Humane Society and various other REAL animal care centers are the ones who actually do the most good for animals.
Ingrid Newkirk is an attention begging hag who just gave me a bitter taste in my mouth toward her and her organization.
Don't get me wrong... ALL animals should be treated with dignity and respect for what they give us... nourishment, companionship, amazement at what nature has to offer, etc. However, going out of your way to attack over 6 billion meat-eating beings that make up the human population on the globe is a wasted effort and downright ridiculous.
When you go as far as PeTA goes in trying to make a point, that goal is lost, and you end up looking like fools. If you have such strong convictions as PeTA members/employees/etc have against treating living things poorly, then you have to go all the way, that includes the trees, plants, etc... ALL living things. You can't pick one and blow off the rest, everything is in the same basket on this earth.. we're all creatures living on this planet, so everything is special, and there's an endless chain that makes up the system. FOOD CHAIN INCLUDED!!
If you want to push.. "People should be punished for eating meat" then you should be punishing sharks for eating other fish, punishing cats from eating mice, and punishing lions for eating wildebeest, etc.
