An open letter to Asylum
"AVH" deserved better. It seems you placed people in key crew positions without properly training them first. Perhaps hiring an untrained editor or writer is cheaper, which increases profit margins, but there's a price to be paid. And that price is passed on to the viewer.
Something needs to be done. Politely posting messages and comments on IMDb from concerned viewers hasn't changed anything. Clearly an alternative form of encouragement is needed; thus the best way to protest a bad film, is to make a better one.
That said, come January 1st, I'm going to announce something that I hope will encourage you, Asylum, to change this pattern of subpar films. Something that if completed, will prove once and for all that a small budget and limited resources are no excuse to be releasing films as bad as AVH.
I imagine at this point dear reader, you have figured out where I'm going with this. Yes, I will have to put my money where my mouth is, but if a valid point is going to be made, someone has to. So I guess that someone is me.
Who wants to do a movie?!?
