Does Bash have a martyr complex?

It seems like in every episode he thinks everything is his fault. This is especially true in the final two episodes. After the like third time he said it I found myself agreeing with him. Like "Yes, everything that has ever happened was because of you!" But I guess it's refreshing to see someone stand up and take responsibility for their actions.
