THe last scene when they were searching for Natalie, who was washed up mysteriously and ended sleeping/waiting inside a bus, the party was firing their loud guns and destroyed the alien. Then Sean shouted "yeah", Natalie suddenly heard him. So a shout can wake you up and not gunfire?
