After we walked out, NO ONE was left in the theater!

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen! Not only was the story uninteresting - how to sell more cars - but it was offensive, as well! When we first sat down, my friend and I were the only ones in the theater. That should have told me something. A few minutes later, a middle-aged man and his daughter and her friends came in. They walked out first - after the utterly unnecessary and unexpected lap dance scene. We stayed through the appalling child seduction scene between the female lead and the overgrown 10-year-old boy. It was like watching a grownup groom a retarded adult for inappropriate sexual conduct. And this was supposed to be funny! My friend and I walked out after the scene with the 2 angels who use the "F" word repeatedly - something that surprised even the main character in the film. That left absolutely NO ONE IN THE THEATER, and that is exactly the audience this movie deserves!

I am sorry u didnt like it, however, u must not have ever seen a Jeremy Piven movie! Thats the kind of comedy he does

Courage is not the absence of fear. It is acting in spite of it.

Offensive? Next time you want to see a movie I suggest you do some research on the director first. Neal Brennan directed this move who is the co-creator of Chappelle show which is a show that featured a skit of a blind Black man who happens to be a White Supremacist because he was told he was white when growing up.

I thought the movie was funny but that's probably because I am open-minded when it comes to comedy. I enjoy a wide range of comedies. This movie I wouldn't say was the best but I gave it a 5/10. Worst still goes to Kung Pao:Enter the Fist 1/10. I walked out of that one.

I have yet to see this...but I've been a fan of Neal's since "Chappelle's Show". He's a freaking genius. I'm going into this with low standards...as I do with any movie.

I just have to see this!
Could you provide the IMDb link to it please?

Ugh, just ignore the trolls, im so sick of ppl being rude to others on this site, cuz they disagree with someones opinion.... Its fine to disagree with ppl, but there is really no need to berate, demean or belittle them and make them feel small or stupid ... Thats what the trolls do.... Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but there is a classy way and a troll way of expressing that opinion ... End of

Agreed. I thought this was worse than any of the recent white trash comedies. The main character is just super annoying.

A steaming pile of stool this movie was.

i was going to overlook this movie until i read your post meg, now theres no way i can miss it. thanks for the insight and awesome recommendation.

also, since movies are scripted, the fact that the main character was "surprised" was this thing we here like to call "acting".
i havent seen the film yet, it may be impromptu and i may be wrong, but i highly doubt it.

We rented it. Turned it off after about 1/2 an hour. We really tried, but after the baby said "shut the *beep* up", I was done. I have seen and enjoy Jeremy Piven movies, but this was just bad.

It's okay to not like a movie because of your sensitivity, but you should know not all people are as sensitive as you. If you tell people who aren't sensitive that the movie is bad, then you're just being selfish because you expect people to have the same taste in movies as you do.

Also I notice something you left out just so you would look like the person with more sense. The baby saying that statement isn't why that scene is funny, the baby was only repeating what was whispered in his ear and why it's funny in the first place.

I think you misunderstood. I'm not sensitive. I love piss and sh!t jokes, and especially like Jeremy Piven and his style of humor. The problem is that the movie was just plain bad. That scene was not funny and was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. The animated lips aren't funny and the fact that the baby repeated it wasn't funny.

I should be more clear next time to make sure that everyone understands my exact point of view, but when a director has to animate baby lips to make a joke proves, to me, that the rest of the movie will bomb. Badly. I feel like it couldn't get any better from that point.

So to summarize, you misunderstood. And, you are guilty of the thing you are accusing me of. You are apparently sensitive about my reply. It's ok to disagree with it. It's not ok to judge me based on what you think about it.

Yeah, except that scene wasn't the least bit funny. For any reason.

HOW DID YOU RENT A MOVIE ON nOV 29 THAT WAS NOT RELEASED YET AND AS A MATTER OF FACT WHILE i'M TYPING THIS, ITS STILL NOT RELASED AND WON;T BE RELEASED TILL NEXT TEUSDAY

reply

Not sure what country you live in, but in America, it was released on DVD as a rental only with no special features Nov. 17, and for sale Dec. 15. I rented from Blockbuster. Funny, you sit here and accuse me of stealing a movie, but then don't even check your sources.

Oh, try the button on your left, the caps lock button.
