easy fix for the Eliminator

just make each point worth 1 sec instead of 1/2. This makes the other events more meaningful.

For it to make a significant difference, it would need to be 2 seconds per point.

They just gotta fix the Eliminator.

They should fix the handbike because it's basically telling some competitors to just run and dive into the balls because it's faster to do that (I suggest that they fall into water and have to climb the cargo net to get back out).

They should actually make it 1 second for every point advantage. Because the Eliminator should not be just based on pure speed. If you did way better than the other person in the other events that should have more weight in the end.

They should throw in something where the competitor has to drag a set amount of weight (I don't want skinny fast losers who aren't athletic in anything else to win the Eliminator anymore).

I recently caught an episode of the UK version of Gladiators. when someone falls off the hand bike they are penalized and have to wait 15 seconds before they can climb back up to the platform. This definitely takes care of the problem of people intentionally "falling" off of the bike.

And in the 1990's American Gladiators, Gladiators were stationed under the hand bikes and balance beams/spinning cylinders to detain condenders who fell for a certain amount of time, then the contenders would have to use an unstable rope ladder to get back up.
