the frozen girl breaking into pieces. like would she get that cold in there and freeze like that in that time span ? I'm not even sure what that was, or at least i don't remember.

They don't make ice therapy machines anywhere near powerful enough to flash freeze a human being.

thank you. i never even heard of ice therapy machines. i did see this happen once when i watched V in 1983 and the guy's arm broke off but that was at a power plant so it seemed more believable.

And what kind of high school would even have that machine in the locker room?

It was a cryo-sauna. It is usually a part of wellness studios. Recommended to use it only for 1 to 2 minutes (up to -140°C). It is very healthy for recovery of muscles, pain relief and skin...

If you got cold enough, some pieces of you might break off, but you won't shatter like that. It would definitely take longer for you to freeze solid either way.

Still, it's a creative scene for a slasher movie.
