Who plays Lancaster?

His accent is SO bad... Mine's better and I am Caucasian... :) I have seen him before too. I wonder where...

His name is Luis Jose Santander and you've seen him in other novelas. I saw him on a talk show about 14 years ago and he has an interesting background: His father is from Venezuela (I forgot whether he was a diplomat or an oil company executive) and his mother from the US. He was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and describes himself as "medio gringo." He is Caucasian, as are most of the leading actors at Televisa.

Unfortunately, in most Televisa productions native speakers of English are depicted as speaking Spanish very badly (unless the character is a genius doctor or a CEO). It is something I find profoundly embarrassing as a native of the US and someone who pronounces Spanish perfectly.

OH MY GOD!!! That's Luis Angel from Te Sigo Amando!!! His accent is what threw me!!! His spanish was PERFECT in TSA, now it sounds like he's American or something... But maybe that was intentional because the character is supposed to be foreign... DAMN good acting too!

Me too by the way. Husband's Dominican, Kids are Half PR, and I am always getting "Y Tu, De Donde Eres?" The minute I open my mouth to speak spanish! LOL

I still screw up the verb tenses because I've never taken formal lessons. I can have a social conversation but I don't try to make sentences of more than seven words. It bugs me because my English language skills are the basis of my ego.
