New message board after IMDb disables this one

Hello everybody,

there's s new message at the top of this page that I'm not sure if I understand correctly - is IMDb planning to disable all discussion boards?

If yes, do you know any other international platform where we could discuss MM?

I would like to visit one regularly because sometimes, there are things on MM that I don't understand and need to ask about, and also, it's interesting to read other people's points of view.

I think this discussion board is an exception to the reason why IMDb might want to shut them all down. I would like to thank everyone who contributes here, because I've really enjoyed the discussions here. They are civilized, coherent, extremely interesting and I've learned so much about history and North America from them.

Try the Murdoch Mysteries Appreciation Society on Facebook. It's very active and there's often news about filming and meeting the actors, etc.

I agree. Facebook is incredibly awful for discussions like these. It's no solution at all for this type of thing. I avoid FB like the plague!

I think, and devoutly hope, that IMDb will be very sorry (financially) that it made this decision. I know I won't come here nearly as much.

Also, there have been a couple of petitions started to ask IMDb to change its mind. They can be found on the NCIS message board.

You might also like to give this one a look. It is similar to these boards. The following link will take you to the page about Murdoch Mysteries. The second link will take you to the discussion board. If you want to find another show just type it in the search box. To get to the discussion boards, the top round white cicle to the left of Murdoch's picture will take you to them. Hover over the circle and click. The setup is the same for all of the shows and performers. The boards are empty right now but you can start making discussions. It is very easy to join. Hope to see you guys there.

What a bummer that IMDb is closing these message boards. I appreciate the information on this Murdoch Facebook group, but unfortunately, it is a closed group. It's too bad you can't see the group without being a member. I have resisted making a Facebook account like the plague, and am afraid that not even Murdoch and the gang will make me change my mind. Oh well, c'est la vie.
