hahah...Christianity is a money hungry cult...hahahahah

i laugh every time someone says that all religions are money hungry-cults like Scientology.

All I can say is...

Yes, your all right...thats why Christian organizations give money to people called missionaries...and thats why people leave their homes and serve their God and have a tiny pay check...because they are money hungry.(sarcasm)

Most pastors of churches barely make any money...and most of the members are poor or homeless.

I've visited many churches in my life(American) and most of them had less than 60 people. And most of the pastors were missionaries before and lived in Africa and Russia and other countries where making big bucks is impossible.

STOP!! saying stuff about churches...when you have no idea about them or have never been to one...or just because one pastor was money hungry...doesn't mean that the thousands are too.

you find one apple with a worm in it...doesn't mean they all have worms.

Um, where do you live? Because most of the people that go to church where I live are very wealthy. As a matter of fact, if a person was homeless, or looked like it at least, they would not be welcomed into the church.

Also

Most pastors of churches barely make any money
Most pastors of churches steal money from the church as well. I'm not trying to degrade Christianity, as a matter of fact, I'm from a Christian family myself. I'm just saying, let's be honest here. Just because you pray doesn't mean you're a good person.

Well my personal experiences show that churches can be like any other organization. There are lots of crooked people. But that is not a reason to dislike churches. The church I've been going to since birth isn't greedy. We do all our own repairs on the church and the pastor has four kids and drives a minivan. As a matter of fact that is their only vehicle. People are normal hardworking and we donate our time to help less fortunate people directly. Not giving to a charity. we go out and find people. So all churches aren't bad.

I don't have a signature.

reply

I didn't say all churches were bad, nor would I ever. Using the world 'all' in a situation like this is sure to make you look like an *beep* for all of anything is never anything.

I don't dislike churches. I also never said I did. I'm not sure I'm the person you meant to reply to, because a lot of this has little to do with what I said.

nd the pastor has four kids and drives a minivan
Well, I don't know what this was supposed to say, but okay.

Apparently someone(you) who grew up in a rich neiborhood and obviously only has experienced good hoods can comment on the whole of Christianity in North America. Perhaps you should think alittle before stereotyping "MOST" of the pastors of churches. "MOST" homeless shelters in America are run by and funded by churches. You have one point correct. I don't want homeless people in my neiborhood. "MOST" persistenly homeless people have emotional/mental/criminal/drug dependent problems and choose homelessness instead of prison/hospitals. I am certainly not talking about the very few that are temporarily without a home because financial/domestic problems. There are plenty of organisations to help the truely helpable. Think before you speak.

"Yes, your all right...thats why Christian organizations give money to people called missionaries...and thats why people leave their homes and serve their God and have a tiny pay check...because they are money hungry."

They give money to missionaries to spread the word of god, get more followers and make more money. Missionary work is spreading the word of god and not selflessly helping people. There is a price for the help a missionary gives you, and it's devotion.

If you want to judge if they are money hungry or not look to the Vatican and what they have and not individual churches. Oil companies are money hungry and make billions but the guy who pumps my gas makes minimum wage. I guess by your account that makes the oil companies great friends of humanity since this guy is willing to get me gas for next to nothing.

reply

True. Christianity and Scientology are both religions. If one is a money-hungry cult, so is the other.

reply

You should turn your attention to the Vatican. And then proceed to shut the *beep* up.
